Following thecompletion of her undergraduate degree in BSc Sportand Exercise Science at Nottingham Trent University, Rachel started herresearcher career at the BPNRC as a research assistant in 2008 where she workedon several projects including looking at the effects of vitamins, caffeine andgreen tea polyphenols on cognitive performance and mood. Rachel then undertookan MSc in Nutrition and Psychological Sciences and in 2010.
In 2011, Rachel began a PhD programme focussing on theeffect of nutritional interventions and exercise on cognition, appetite andmood under the supervision of Dr Emma Stevenson, Professor David Kennedy and Dr Crystal Haskell.
