Julie graduated from Northumbria University in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and in 2007Â with a commendation in MSc in Nutrition and Psychological Science. Â After working as a Primary School Teaching Assistant for two years Julie returned to Northumbria in 2009 as a Research Assistant in the Psychology Department, School of Life Sciences.
Julie has assisted with several research projects as a member of the Cognition and Communication (CoCo) Research CentreÂ and joined the Brain Performance and Nutriton Research Centre (BPNRC)Â in September 2011.Â She is a fully trainedÂ phlebotomistÂ and assists with collection of blood samples for studies at the BPNRC.
Her research interests include the effects of homeopathic remedies for cognition and mood modulation and the investigation ofÂ nutritional interventionsÂ on cognitive function
